Chez Monique Silversmith Classes
Every class will have at least two expert silversmiths to ensure maximum attention to each student. The cost of the class is 600.000 Rupiah which includes creating only one item per person, per class. This item can weigh no more than 7 grams of silver. If you’re interested in making additional items, please contact us for more information.For larger designs, additional silver or stones may be required. These will be charged at an extra cost. Very complex designs may also incur an extra cost. Please ask your silversmith at the end of the design stage to check the cost of the selected design.
Classes normally take 2 to 3 hours and run Monday to Saturday. Normal starting times are: 09:30am, 11:00am and 1:30pm. Please call or email to check availability and to confirm the starting time of the class on the selected day. Advanced bookings of at least 24h are required to attend a class. There is no minimum number of students per class. Chez Monique features original designs, custom ordering, and jewelry repair.

The Chez Monique Silversmith Class is AMAZING!
We found the Chez Monique Silversmith Class while wondering around Ubud on our honeymoon! Needless to say it is a MUST DO if you are in Ubud! The owner and his staff are extremely welcoming and hospitable.

10/10 experience!
First time taking a jewellery class and so glad it was here. Seen lots of different classes advertised while travelling Bali but this was the perfect spot, authentic feel and not like sitting in a jewellery shop! Made two rings and completed most of the process ourselves from finer details of the rings to imprinting letters. There is plenty of help if needed, however they encourage you to try yourself.. great way to learn as I would’ve otherwise asked them to do a lot more of it for me and not had a go. Very friendly team, great atmosphere, drinks offered throughout and a very special experience. Best class I’ve been to. When back in Bali will definitely return! Helped to lift spirits in the Ubud rain!

Wonderful, meditative, fun!
I have visited Chez Monique at least four times and every time have loved it. Host Wayan and his staff are so friendly, patient and helpful. By the end of your time there you will have created something very special from scratch. At times I was laughing and at times I was deep in concentration.
I highly recommend this experience!

Really lovely jewellery class 🙂
My partner and I really enjoyed this class, we both had ideas of what kind of rings we wanted to make and the jewellers were super kind and helped us with every step. You ate even able to bring your own stone! It was our first time working with silver and we found the class to be very beginner friendly.
We both came out with rings we love!

Superb experience with amazing helpful staff!
We booked this directly through email with the company instead of via TripAdvisor - but wanted to leave a review because it was such a fantastic experience for us!
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with jewellery examples for inspiration and offering advice on designs! They showed us how to use the tools (shaping and cutting the silver strands) and helped us when we struggled.
The staff took responsibility for welding the silver strands together, which was incredible to watch because they made it look so effortless.
We are thrilled with the rings we made and will treasure them forever.
Definitely one of the highlights of our trip and 100% recommend to anyone looking for more interesting and traditional experiences of the culture!!

Must go! One of the best experiences in Ubud.
This experience was one of the very best I've had in Ubud. I did not expect to make such a quality ring and I'm so proud I made it myself. The gentlemen who owns this business and the staff who work there make this experience excellent. They are knowledgeable, caring and most of all so kind. I will be back and I'll be wearing my ring now forever more. Thank you for an unforgettable day.

A day to remember!
Had an amazing day making our rings. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, they made the experience really enjoyable. Highly recommend this class to everyone! It was a lot of fun and we get an amazing souvenir and memory from Bali❤️
